Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress who is best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. Her breakout role in the role of Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light was also praised. Her most notable movies include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. It is reported that she is making a film adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. She also films for an upcoming television series known as Gods & Heroes.
