Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the oldest child of four. Her parents a dental surgeon and teacher recognized and backed her love for acting and theatre at an early age, which was more important than a desire to be a primatologist due to her love of monkeys. It was a quick rise in her career to become a famous young actress. When she first began the acting profession, she participated in Jeunes Premiers which was a French television show that sought to find talent that was sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. She also won the title of Best Young Actress for her performance in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou was educated at Institut Catholique de Paris, was a churchgoer as a young girl and was brought up Catholic. She has since gotten away from her Catholic upbringing. The modeling and acting careers of Tautou are interspersed. She became the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is known as the Chanel Muse. Photography is another passion and she recently exhibited her work in the Arles festival, under the title Superficial. After this huge success, Tautou starred in numerous films, including British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
